The car
Our 4-door Toyotas are comfortable 4x4s for getting you and your family where you need to go. You get a Toyota 4Runner, Fortuner or Prado, all are real 4x4's - guaranteed automatic.
The Fortuner and Prado have a 3.0L turbo diesel engine and the 4Runner a 4.0L gasoline engine. They suit couples and families of up to 5 and can carry any of our three rooftop tents: Standard, Double or Hard-Shell. Like every car in our fleet it is a real 4x4 set up for Costa Rica's back roads, with a side awning and the full camping kit.
This car has lots of storage space for the equipment and luggage and will be in general the most comfortable car.

Our bases are 10 minutes from San José airport (SJO) and 5 minutes from Liberia airport (LIR), with free pick-up and drop-off between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at airport or nearby hotels.
