The car
The Kia Bongo 4x4 Camper is our 4x4 truck with a camper cabin on the back and optional rooftop tents. It has a 3.0L diesel engine and a manual gearbox.
It fits 6 passengers, 3 in the front row and 3 in the second row, which makes it our pick for families and groups. For camping with 6, 2 people sleep in the camper cabin and 4 in two rooftop tents. Like every car in our fleet it is a real 4x4 set up for Costa Rica's back roads, with a side awning, big water tank, and the full camping kit.
