The car
The Toyota Land Cruiser LX is the classic reliable 76 Series Land Cruiser: powerful, comfortable and a true adventurer with no unnecessary electronics and sensors. Great 4x4 car with diff-locks and a strong (but not so fast) 4.2L diesel engine and a manual gearbox.
It suits couples or families of up to 5 and can carry any of our three rooftop tents: Standard, Double or Hard-Shell. Like every car in our fleet it is a real 4x4 set up for Costa Rica's back roads, with a side awning and the full camping kit.

Our bases are 10 minutes from San José airport (SJO) and 5 minutes from Liberia airport (LIR), with free pick-up and drop-off between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at airport or nearby hotels.
